Meet the Founder of Squeeky Clean and The Squeeky Clean Method

My story began as a child really…
While growing up, my father would clean at night for extra money, and we always went as a family to help him. Next thing I know I am a teenager doing the same thing as a way to pay for college. I began blitzing my school neighborhood with signs and posters, and before I was even finished, I received 10 phone calls, which all turned into clients! The rest is history.
I had no idea at the time…
But what I was doing was starting a business. To me, it was just a way to pay for school. Upon graduation, I landed my dream job, closed up the cleaning business, and began what I thought was my future career in the sports and marketing industry. Two years in, I was tired of the long hours and low pay. I had been making more money as a teenager than I was in my dream job.
It was a hard transition for me mentally because I felt like I had gone to school for nothing. Little did I know everything I learned in school (operations, accounting, and marketing) as well as working for myself, was exactly what I needed as a foundation for launching out into bigger territory. Acquiring a commercial cleaning contract was and still is, a male-dominated industry. You need confidence, to navigate in this industry.

And now here I am…
And now here I am, 20 years later, and have become an expert in my industry. I realized its time to share all my knowledge and know-how with the world. It’s funny how we think people don’t want to hear what we have to say until we start speaking. I continue to be amazed that the simple things I know and take for granted, are actually the same things people want and NEED the knowledge of. Never doubt the skill set you have acquired. Don’t think because you aren’t wearing a fancy suit to work, or have a nice office with a beautiful fiddle leaf fig tree in the corner (that was always my dream), that you can’t make an in-print on society.

I NEVER THOUGHT I WOULD BE HERE 20 YEARS LATER, AND STILL THRIVING.
My company started with just myself for a year or two (working 7 days a week) to finally being able to add two employees (one who is still with me today!), to adding more accounts. After that happened, my parents decided to come aboard, which was a lifesaver actually. Most owners are lucky to have one person they can completely trust, and I have three!
Enough about me, meet my family!
My husband and I met at a time when I was about to give up on love (don’t do it if you’re there!). We have been together 14 years, married for 12, and have 5 children. My husband had two teenagers at the time ( I love teenagers), Greg (19..yes I have a 33-year-old son) and 13 (Brooke, now 27), both of whom I have a very good relationship with (#blessing). I keep thinking about writing a manual for being a stepparent. There are SO many things I did wrong, and SO many things I did right.
Together we have a 10-year-old (AJ), 8 (Blake) and 6 (Grayson), and my father-in-law who is 93.
